Cara E. Moore has been a Freelance Writer since 1990, working as a newspaper stringer and columnist for The Highline Times,writing travel articles for The News Tribune and The Spokesman Review and feature articles for both The West Seattle Herald and South Wales Evening Post. She has written for speciality newspapers, The Big Issue (UK) , Bridal Connection, Diversity Business News and Northwest Baby & Child. Her magazine credits include Babytalk, International Railway Traveler, Michaels Arts & Crafts and Northwest Runner.
She has taught workshops in Poetry, and was selected to read at the 1994 Mayfest sponsored by the National Writers Association Her poetry work has been represented at The Burien Arts Gallery. She was Program Chair for National Writers Association (1992 -1993) where she arranged speakers for the monthly meetings. She also wrote workshops including a years event brochure and publicity materials. She was also a Publicist for The Burien Arts Gallery (1994 - 1995) where she also arranged poetry readings featuring local artists and musicians. She has served as the publicist for the Swansea & West Wales Business Forum (2003 - 2004).
Cara E. Moore also writes plays, her play The Healing received and Honourable Mention in the 1996 Writers Digest Playwriting Competition. She also has a mystery series and two children's books under consideration with publishers, and two television dramas under consideration with producers. She has worked as a typesetter for the The Highline Times and the School of Health Science, University of Wales, Swansea, and also compiled NVQ training manuals for the City & County of Swansea Training Dept.
She is currently doing articles for Writersforhire.com via the Internet and freelance assignments for various publications and advertising materials, brochures and newsletters for various businesses.
